George V. Ranta, DDS
Dr. Ranta earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, with a major in zoology. In 1971 he graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. While a student in dental school, Dr. Ranta received extensive training in periodontal surgery and fixed dental prosthetics. Since then Dr. Ranta has continued his postgraduate education to include training in oral and periodontal surgery, cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry (both the surgical and the restorative phases).
In 2001 Dr. Ranta graduated from the Medical College of Georgia's Maxi Course in implant dentistry. He earned the distinguished title of Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry' after passing rigorous written and oral exams and case presentations.
Dr. Ranta is now able to focus his practice on reconstructive and implant dentistry, while striving for the maximum esthetic result. Through continuing education and training throughout the world, Dr. Ranta continues to be on the forefront in these areas.
Jeffrey A. Ranta, D.M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey A. Ranta, a native of Colorado Springs, graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He enjoyed tutoring students in the sciences while in college and while attending graduate school at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. During dental school, Dr. Jeff traveled to Finland to conduct cancer research at the University of T¸rk¸ Dental School. After receiving his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, he returned to Colorado Springs to join the Mesa Ridge Dental Center with his father, Dr. George Ranta, who has been practicing dentistry in Colorado Springs for over 30 years.
Candace K. Pfister, D.M.D.
Dr. Candace Pfister received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She went on to receive her D.M.D. from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. After earning her degree in 2001, Dr. Pfister returned to Colorado and joined Mesa Ridge Dental Center.
Ryan D. Reposa, D.M.D
Dr. Ryan Reposa was one of eight students accepted nation wide into the Adelphi-Tufts Joint Degree Dental Program. This seven year advanced program earned Dr. Reposa a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. He went on to receive his D.M.D. from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. After attaining his degree in 2001, Dr. Reposa joined the United States Air Force and served at the United States Air Force Academy, Peterson Air Force Base, Schriever Air Force Base, and Cheyenne Mountain Air Station dental clinics. In 2005, Dr. Reposa joined the Mesa Ridge Dental Team.
